Puzzle Post

I have received this letter from Heleen (the Netherlands). It was written Puzzel Post on the envelope. What does it mean? So I opened...

It seemed the work was especially designed for me...

Not so difficult but... Maybe I needed more coffee this morning, because it too me a while until I complete the design!

How wonderful is this drawing?

Postcard User Guide

Maybe are you on holidays and want to send postcards? Don't know how to do that? Look at this useful postcard received from Heleen (the Netherlands):

1. Turn postcard over. You're not allowed to write on this side. It confuses your postman.
2. Write something nice to someone on the left hand panel like "Hello Deidre, I like your hat. Have you lost weight?"
3. On the right panel, write down their name and address. If they don't live anywhere, just give it to them when you see them next. It doesn't matter, it still works.
4. Pop a stamp on here. Any one will do. As long as it's got the Queen's face on it.
5. Pop it in a postbox. DONE. Make sure it is a red one though. Them other ones with holes are bins. If you put it in there then no-one will get it.

It is easy, isn't it? Well, maybe the mail boxes in your country aren't red, or you have not any queen... But these aren't valid reasons for not to send me a postcard during your holidays!

Mail a Smile

Sent to Kinga (Hungary), the recipient of the smiles for the Challenge #10 of the Mail a Smile Project.

The challenge of every month consists in sent mail art according to a theme. In November the theme was Funny Faces. This wonderful postcard is not hand-made, as I bought it in a toyshop. But in a way this is mail art, because it is a removable sticker.

The theme of Challenge #11 is A day to remember. But the last challenge of 2013 but this month is a special one: you can choose the recipient, and (s)he must be someone you really care about. Someone who deserves a letter from you. Really appealing, isn't it?

Messages in Bottles

Who don't like to receive a message in a bottle? :)

The first postcard is made of a cardboard from spicy sauce (have you noticed the extra little post label?). In the second one, you must find the bottle with a (love?) letter inside... It is not difficult!

By the way, it is not the first time I received a whale (or sent it) trough mail...

Both postcards sent by Heleen (the Netherlands).

Mail a Whale

Sent by Postmuse (the USA).

It is a thank you card for one of my contributions to her amazing project: Orphaned Postcard Project. I found the postcard really funny. And the postcard is very useful. I mean if you intend to send a whale. But I must add that I once I sent a whale trough mail successfully.
