The style reminds me of Inge Löök, so at first sight (while the picture still was opening on my phone, it starts opening on top) I thought you would have chosen one of the Grannies cards. This is a beautiful illustration, too!
I considered the Grannies for these post. But I had already uploaded all the Inge Löök postcards I have got. Those two ladies are my ideal. I want to be one of them when I get older!
You are right. But I chose it because I always associate happiness with reading and writing. Add a window and a beautiful tree and happiness is perfect!

DeleteOh yes, I totally agree :-) I'd like to join you, they are a good example of how we should behave once we are older :-)

DeleteThis would be quite good for a 'Thoughtful' category as well!

DeleteAnne of Green Gables... old favourite :)
ReplyDeleteSame here.
DeleteLovely blossoms brought sweet smile on my face! Definitely what I need with the Monday Madness ensuing for the day .. .
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing your happy card to which I agree with John, a thoughtful one as well :D
I'm glad you like it. Maybe we need also a "Monday Madness" theme one week... just for laugh!
