Pets on Stamps

Today's theme in Sunday Stamps-II is Pets. Not my favourite, but I have recently received some nice stamps that can fit, from Canada and the USA.

  1. I do like the idea behind the Canadian pet stamps.

  2. I like the Canadian animals and their dreams too, clever stamps to promote an idea. Gorgeous and flashy fish on the US stamp.

  3. the betta is so colourful!
I'm glad you showed some pets other than cars/dogs (though, of course, they are the most common pets, so the ones everyone think of)

    1. I'm not a pet person, but I guess I would prefer a turtle to a dog/cat.

  4. There are so many animals in shelter, so I totally agree with the Canadian message.
I hadn't seen these stamps before, I like the design. The US stamps I knew and I love your choice, these are my favourites, along with the cavia.

    1. By the way, I also love languages, as you know, and it is fun to see the totally different approach ('you' versus 'je') in English and French on the Canadian stamp :-)

    2. I don't have pets, but I think that is rather silly to buy one... with so many animals in shelters!

Canadian stamps have usually great designs. But, of course, the bilingualism is a plus!

  5. The Canadian stamps are new for me this week; good to see the cat and what looks or bird table in the dream.
