One thing that always makes me smile is receiving snails by snail mail. I made an album of them, including some slugs.
The postcard above was sent by Bryon (the USA).
The postcard below, showing another real snail mail snail (does it live in this mailbox?) was sent by John (the UK). It took me a bit to upload the image to the blog. But, actually, it took even more time to read it. It arrived to my Spanish address in the summer... And I found it in Christmas!

I'm adding this post to Maria's link party Postcards for the Weekend.
Snail by snail mail... how amazingly cool! Never heard of that. :D
ReplyDelete:D I love the concept (And I also love snails, by the way).
DeleteHi Eva, Gotta love these cards. What I'd like to do is print out the first one and then tape it above the outgoing mail slot at the Post Office. It would generate smiles for the customers ... not sure about the Post Master. :-) Have a happy weekend! John
ReplyDeleteI don't think the post master gets mad at you, if you don't damage the post slot. It's a good idea! :D
DeleteI didn't know that snails are featured in postcards, too! Or perhaps I did but I've forgotten. Thanks for sharing these postcards Eva. :)
ReplyDeleteI bet there is anything that you can't find on a postcard. Postcards for all tastes exists!
