Sunday Stamps | December

Another thing I like about December is... December stamps. On this set that Heleen sent last year (on different postcards and letters), there are some of my favourite things.

And what about the festive postmarks?

This is a post for Sunday Stamps.  Go there to see more Christmas stamps!

  1. A nice cosy jumper for Christmas. Love the Christmas tree postmark. Every year we only have one with the dates of the last days of posting, not as festive.

    1. Every year I want to knit me one of those and I'm always late. I guess I should start in January... :)

    1. Some of them arrived in January. Of course, the order was completely chaotic :)

    2. Nice indeed to see them all together!
And nice to see the postmarks stamped in different ways :-)
This is the only time in the year that Dutch PostNL uses a different cancellation.

    3. I was very happy of getting the whole set! I like these designs a lot. But I also like the 2019 designs which I have already seen in person thanks to you (not Sint, this time!). December stamps from the Netherlands are usually among my favourite stamps every year. So... many thanks!

    4. I’ve reserved the complete 2019 for you (and for FinnBadger and for Scriptor Senex :-) ).
Now the point is to find time *in time* to use them on my mail to you :-)
(not all delay is the postal companies’ fault: I usually get time and rest to write in the holidays-days themselves and that is a little, er, rather late..)

    6. Please have a little patience... (or, in other words: please keep the excitement for a little longer while :-) )

    1. Christmas sweater aren't traditional here. Thanks to the globalization, tough, they are beginning to become a thing... So, maybe next year!
