I Like These Stamps

A letter sent to Alan (the UK), with some favourite stamps.

  1. I liked them too —— a reply is already on the way to you. It's odd that the balloon is only one quarter stamp, and such a low value.

    1. Glad to read that :)

The baloon stamp belongs to this sheet from 2005. 28 cents made sense that year: it was the national rate (Today is 0,65€). A letter to Europe in 2005 cost 0,53€; today is 1,45€. An amazing increase, isn't it?

    2. I love these stamps together. It seems like the color red connects them.

And mail seems to be becoming more and more a luxury as prices rise. Fortunately here the cost of mail is cheaper by comparison - 55c for domestic and $1.20 for international.

    3. I thought them matched well together, and with the "air mail" colours!

    4. And the way you took the picture - adding the pencils - certainly is matching, too!
