Machins & More



John's sending of stamps are always wonderful!


And now this is curious: almost the same stamps on two envelopes sent from the same place; however, very different cancellations!

    That is curious. One looks hand cancelled and the other machine cancelled.

    I wonder whether it's the size — the standard DL went through the cancelling machine but the squarer envelope got spat out for hand processing?

      I hadn't thought of that. It could be. Although usually those big envelopes go trough the machine, too.
