Sunday Stamps | Apples & Pears

Today's theme in Sunday Stamps is Food. Do not you eat a lot of fruit in the summer? So you have some fresh apples!

Or maybe do you prefer pears?

All these arrived together on the same envelope sent by Phillip (the USA), and decorated with a wine label. Only some of the pears had right to a postmark, tough!

  1. I really like a good crisp apple.
The Hungarian stamp is lovely with the blossoms.
And, there is FinnBadger sharing what's left of his wine :)

    1. It would have been a pity not reuse that label... especially with the pear stamps!

  2. Love apples and the stamps showcase them nicely especially the Hungarian one. Frostbitten is fascinating I'll have to look up his other paintings. The finely balance pears are a nice addition.

    1. I love all about these stamps. All apples and pears looks so tasty... Except Wyeth; those look abandoned!

  3. Nice to see the 15 pears envelope. Well done spotting the apples on the Wyeth stamp, I would never have thought of this stamp for today.

    1. It was that stamp which game me the idea of looking for more apples. I knew I had some somewhere...
      Wyeth stamps/pictures are just great.

  4. Our tree has hundreds of apples every year and this years it looks the same - never thought of apple stamps other than Johnny Appleseed.
