მშვიდობა
My Peace Stamp project keeps going (slowly!). I got the stamp from Georgia. This is also the first time I get mail from that country.

Sunday Stamps | Going to School
This week, Sunday Stamps is dedicated to Education. Right now, schools and universities in my country are enjoying their holidays. But they will be soon back to school...
... But definitely better if you find good teachers!

From Bath Postal Museum
I like to get postcards (and gifts!) from postal museums. Like these from Bath Postal Museum (the UK).
Do you think that cat is real?

Introducing Thursday Postcard Hunt
Welcome to a new postcard challenge from See It on a Postcard blog: Thursday Postcard Hunt.
Right, here is my idea for a postcard challenge. There will be a general monthly theme with a related weekly challenge that narrows it down. There will likely be overlaps. And there will be repeats but with slight variations. If you don't have - or can't find - something for a specific week, feel free to post something from a different week two times.
Again, feel free to interpret the theme/challenge any way you wish.
This will be on THURSDAYS.
September theme: Tourist Sites
- Week 1 - Nature reserves, parks, gardens
- Week 2 - Castles, palaces
- Week 3 - Fun for kids
- Week 4 - Museums, art galleries, theatres
Everyone is welcome to share their postcards!

Do you remember the Lichtenstein postcards? This is the envelope I sent to Bryon (the USA) as a reply.

Sunday Stamps | Patterns
Some stamps showing beautiful Patterns for today's Sunday Stamps:
These two stamps from 2011 belong to same series: Morris and Company. Feel free to ignore the dreadful cancellation on the second one.
The original company of Morris, Marshall, Faulkner & Co. was founded in 1861, and quickly established a reputation for fashionable interior design and manufacture of fine furniture and decorations. Its Pre-Raphaelite founders were artist and designer William Morris, together with partners Edward Burne-Jones, Dante Gabriel Rossetti, the architect Philip Webb, artist Ford Madox Brown, his associate Peter Paul Marshall and Charles Faulkner.
Text taken from this site, where you can see the whole set.
Not easy stamps to get, due to their high face rates. I am not sure I have seen (let alone get) a lot of $2 and $5 stamps. And it seems there is a $10 one, too. According to the information on the USPS site, "the designs become more complex as the denominations rise".

Alphabet 2023 | O Is for O'Brien
The following one in the Alphabet 2023 project is O, sent from O'Brien (Oregon). But, this time it does not get a manual cancellation (Sorry: I am not able to read the automated cancellation).
But it got perfectly matched stamps on the back!

Bud
I have got this postcard twice through the Postcrossing site: from Olaf in Germany, and from Gosia in the Netherlands (in 2021). However, I would not associate the Budweiser brand to any ot those countries, but to the USA.
The first Friday of August, some people celebrate the International Beer Day. I wish you a happy beer if you are among the beer drinkers.
