'A dream,' he said, 'as it goes WHIFFLING trough the night air, is making a little BUZZING-HUMMING noise. But this little BUZZY-HUM is so silvery soft, it is IMPOSSIBLE or a human bean to be HEARING it'.
The Giraffe and the Pelly and Me
The Giraffe's NECK, which HEAVEN knows was long enough already, began to grow LONGER and LONGER and LONGER and LONGER and HIGHER and HIGHER and HIGHER...

Two stamps issued in Malaysia in 2011, dedicated to Underground Engineering Excellence. I find rather curious the second stamp, featuring a schematic cross-section on the SMART Tunnel.
The M4 Viaduct stamp belongs to the 1968 British Bridges series.
The topic of the first Thursday Postcard Hunt is Tourist Sites - Nature reserves, parks, gardens. I am posting two recent incoming postcards from the Parque Natural Sierra de Cazorla, Segura y las Villas (Jaén, Spain).
The stamps above belong to the multi-year UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Canada series. From left to right: The Landscape of Grand Pre, Nova Scotia (2016), SGang Gwaay, British Columbia (2014) and Joggins Fossil Cliffs, Nova Scotia (2014).
From the From Far and Wide series. Above: Abraham Lake, Alberta (2020) and Herschel Island-Qikiqtaruk Territorial Park, Yukon (2020).
Below:
Cabot Trail, Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia (2020)
French River, Prince Edward Island (2020)
Iceberg Alley Near Ferryland, Newfoundland (2019)
Arctic Bay, Nunavut (2018)
Prince Edward Island National Park, Prince Edward, 2018
Parc national de l'lle-Bonaventure-et-du-Rocher-Perce (Quebec), 2018
Both series are among my favourites. I only wish the stamps were a bit bigger!
