Do you prefer to receive this kind of postcards, or the urban type?
I don't think I have a preference. Both rural and urban imagery would be good on a postcard.
ReplyDeleteIn my country, we don't have much of a postcard culture, unfortunately.
Namaste: Exotic Words with no English Equivalent
Also in Morocco people don't sent postcards usually. But in Europe we still have a big choice, even if people send less postcards nowadays...
DeleteI like urban postcards, especially older ones of cities I know (like New York City) - I love looking at what they looked like many years ago.
ReplyDeleteI like vintage views of cities too, but especially when I've been there (so I can compare).
DeleteNature type postcards are my favorite kinds to send or receive. I loved to see the Northern Lights someday! That must be awesome to see first-hand. Happy a2zing!

Art Sketching Through the Alphabet "N" (Nightingale)
A friend of mine tell me about and... yes, that must be a striking view.
DeleteViewing northern lights is indescribable. They dance in a way that can not be captured in an image.
DeleteDid you?
DeleteI'd love to see the northern lights one day.
ReplyDeletePhillip | N is for Naked (Don’t be alarmed, no nudity).
You mean one night... ;)
DeleteSuch beautiful postcards Eva. I love the Bisons and the matching stamps.
ReplyDeleteAs long as there's drama and intrigue and colours to lift me up, I'm good with any postcard.
You've added a whole bunch of places to my bucket list:)
N is for Naada
I hope you can visit all of them one day! :)
DeleteBeautiful postcards :-) Happy A-to-Z-ing.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Ronel.
DeleteI was introduced to postcards by my grandparents in the 1980s. since then I have added my own. I like unique cards whether urban or nature.
ReplyDeleteDo you collect postcards?
DeleteNature ones must be my favs...though cityscapes can look amazing too. Would be something to see the Northern Lights with one's own eyes - marvellous!

Madly-in-Verse
I am unable to decide, too.
DeleteLa carte avec des aurores est superbe. J'aimerais les voir en réel un jour...
ReplyDeleteIl semble que tu n'est pas la seule :D
DeleteI would much prefer nature cards to urban ones. Nature brings calm to my spirit while urban scenes bring a sense of urgency somehow, lol. :)
ReplyDeleteThat's true. But it depends on the picture, I guess.
DeleteI find nature postcards emotionally attractive. The photography is stunning, and they usually show things I will never see in person.
ReplyDeleteDid I told you that I have an album dedicated to snails?
DeleteBeautiful nature postcards - I love the bison stamp in particular. :)
ReplyDeleteHere's my "N" post :) http://nataliewestgate.com/2017/04/noticed-secret-diary-of-a-serial-killer
That stamps is perfect, isn't it?
DeleteAbsolutely! I actually have a collection of fun and unusual stamps. I don't go out of my way to find them, but if one crosses my path it ends up in the stamp album. :)
DeleteSame here! I am not a serious collector, but I appreciate and keep interesting stamps (I mean... all the stamps I got!).
DeleteOh good, I am glad to see you do have a postcard from Hawaii. I was wondering, since I didn't see a Hawaii label in your footer, although there are so many labels in your footer, I might not have seen it. Maui Jungalow
ReplyDeleteI think this is the only postcard I've received from Hawaii, and it arrived just last month. Anyway, it is tagged "USA" (you can look for places in the right sidebar "Mail to/from"; or you can use Ctrl+F). I believe there are a lot of beautiful landscapes worthposting in Hawaii!
DeleteBeautiful postcards, all of them!
ReplyDeleteConcerning rainbows, a natural phenomenom always amazing to see (also in urbanized areas), thank you for your supercolourful letter!! It arrived yesterday and I think it wonderful, awesome!
I've opened it this morning and I'm reading it step by step, just finished to read the first, red part. Love it!
(also your smurf card smurfed at my place, so great! :o) )
Happy to smurf that! :)))
