That postcard must have powers, too: he/she was curious and looked around so carefully that it forgot the time. And therefore a delivery later than usual!.. Don't you consider curiosity (eagerness to know everything) as a power, too?!
I have seen some experiments on the Internet, about putting a camera inside a parcel. most of the time is boring, but they are some interesting issues on the videos!
Postcards do have magic powers, just not the power of speed :)
ReplyDeleteI guess that is the right answer. I received yesterday a postcard from the USA sent (and postmarked) on 15 February (!?).

If curiosity is a superpower we are superheroes, I suppose ;)
DeleteSo are we :-)
DeleteIt would be fun to follow a postcard to see exactly where it goes on its journey to see why sometimes they take six days and sometimes sixty days!

DeleteI was sad after reading about the pencil store problems. Now I'm laughing so hard I scared the cat! Your postcard is so funny.
ReplyDeleteI'm fresh in from the post office where I spent $22.50 to mail something to the UK that cost that much. (Still laughing albeit a tad hysterically.)
I hope it arrives quick and safe!
DeleteBoníssim. I les respostes també.
