The Weather on Stamps

Sunny

Today's theme in Sunday Stamps-II is Weather. I have had a look at the stamps I have got. Among those that feature pictures, I have realised that most of them show sunny scenes. Maybe because the postal authorities tend to convey good news...

But then I have noticed that I have at least one stamp for (almost) all kind of atmospheric conditions...

Cloudy

Misty

Windy

Snowy

Stormy

Humid

    1. I've had a reat time looking at the stamps in a different way.

I didn't find any stamp depicting rain (or umbrellas), among my unpublished.

  2. You have done it again!!
I also thought there would be more stormy, or cloudy, stamps, but was disappointed in my search.

    1. Thanks! I guess there are a lot more of stamps. Even featuring rain, which I didn't managed to find. But my collection of received stamps isn't so big.

  4. I love the way you choose to show this variety in weather and weather stamps! Beautiful stamps, and especially the suns make me shine/smile :-)

Being an inhabitant of a rainy country, I found Dutch rainy stamps :-) I came home late yesterday so I didn't have the time to upload them. But thanks to your comment I 'made' some time this morning (and thanks to the time difference between the US and Europe I still was able to link), to share my rain stamp with you :-)

An umbrella stamp should be common, too, but neither I did find any...

    1. I think they must be stamps with umbrellas, and maybe even I have received one myself. Let's see if someone arrives in the future... I love the weather stamps you published!
