Sunny
Today's theme in Sunday Stamps-II is Weather. I have had a look at the stamps I have got. Among those that feature pictures, I have realised that most of them show sunny scenes. Maybe because the postal authorities tend to convey good news...
But then I have noticed that I have at least one stamp for (almost) all kind of atmospheric conditions...

Great post today - I am impressed with how you covered so many weather conditions. Love the buck in the mist.
ReplyDeleteI've had a reat time looking at the stamps in a different way.
DeleteI didn't find any stamp depicting rain (or umbrellas), among my unpublished.
You have done it again!!
ReplyDeleteI also thought there would be more stormy, or cloudy, stamps, but was disappointed in my search.
Thanks! I guess there are a lot more of stamps. Even featuring rain, which I didn't managed to find. But my collection of received stamps isn't so big.
DeleteTres genial ta selection de temps
ReplyDeleteMerci, Eva! :)
DeleteI love the way you choose to show this variety in weather and weather stamps! Beautiful stamps, and especially the suns make me shine/smile :-)
ReplyDeleteBeing an inhabitant of a rainy country, I found Dutch rainy stamps :-) I came home late yesterday so I didn't have the time to upload them. But thanks to your comment I 'made' some time this morning (and thanks to the time difference between the US and Europe I still was able to link), to share my rain stamp with you :-)
An umbrella stamp should be common, too, but neither I did find any...
I think they must be stamps with umbrellas, and maybe even I have received one myself. Let's see if someone arrives in the future... I love the weather stamps you published!
DeleteGreat post. You have covered so many weather conditions with some great stamps, none of which I have seen before.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Bob. It was amusing to look for the stamps.
