Rainy Postcards

Everybody says we should have been here last week

The place I live in is packed with tourists. Probably you have read my complains about in my letters and postcards... They come because of the beaches. Two days raining, and they seem all lost, wandering through the streets, bored...

How funny that I have received these postcards the same week! Both feature Rupert Besley artworks, but were sent by different people: Laura and John, from both sides of the UK.

First spot of rain we've had in months!

  2. Such a beautifully drawn cartoons! I think rain (and especially the atmosphere/feeling of rain) very difficult to draw, and I must say I adore the way Rupert Besley drew it!

And how sad that tourists wander bored and behave annoying.. I think, when it rains they should by a good book and sit and read quietly - maybe someone can build a kind of tent on the beach for that purpose so they don't need to wander bored and boring anymore?

    1. I think these drawings, and others from the same artist, are wonderful. And also they made me laugh.

I think there is plenty of things to do when you are on holidays. But some people seems to be dull... :|

  3. Ha, ha, we were all obviously fed up with the rain during that week. The weather has been fantastic recently and it is all forgotten!
