    1. Pomelos are quite common here, but a lot of people don't like their bitter taste. I adore them!

  2. These look so delicious.
I've seen pomelo but haven't tried it. The egg fruit is totally new to me. Having googled both of these, I think I might like them.

  3. I love stamps showing singlenfruits (and vegetables)!
Gooseberries we name in Dutch 'kruisbessen', 'cross-berries', and I don't know where both names, goose and cross, come from..

Pomelos are found in supermarkets here, too. As a child we used to cut them in two halves, put one or two tea spoons of sugar on the open halves, and then eat the content of each half with the tea spoon. Nowadays I don't eat them that often, but if, it is without extra sugar, maybe because they have become less bitter, or maybe because I don't like food to be 'too sweet' anymore (and nowadays I eat them like we eat an orange)

    1. Gooseberries aren't very known here. I don't think they sell them on supermarkets (as most berries, actually). Maybe in more specialised shops.

I prefer pomelos in juice form. If they are too bitter, I add some water, but not sugar.

  4. We seem to have fruit every day, so I love your selection - grapes every lunchtime and bilberries with my morning serial.

  5. Fun collection. I like most fruit, but have to say gooseberries taste awful to me.
