I have read that Irish pubs are very common around the world. Certainly, they are in my country! But, for once, it would be nice to visit a real one... in Ireland!

DeleteRegarding to postcard, I find the last one very original.
I have never been in a pub in Ireland, but at one time I had quite a collection of beermats which I started collecting in England.
ReplyDeleteYes the Irish pub pops up everywhere in the world but of course the originals are the best probably because they are full of Irish people. Great collection of cards and as I am a fan of pub signs that one is my favourite.

ReplyDeleteThe only time I was in Ireland I was only 13, and my parents weren't the sort to go to pubs anyway! I like that second postcard best, all the little signs together. I looked it up, and there is an Irish pub in my town. The "about us" doesn't mention the owners are Irish though!
