I made this envelope for Philllip (the USA) out of the catalogue of an exhibition of collages, by this artist. You can see how it travelled on Phillip's blog.
And later, with the rest of the catalogue, I made a second envelope... Which arrived with some postmarks on!
I didn't know Randomagus so far. I like the description of his profession, besides collage artist: paper wrestler :-)
ReplyDeleteI think creating collages is harder than drawing, so I fully agree (be it that 'wrestling' ('worstelen') in Dutch has two meanings: the sport, and 'struggling', doing a hard job, I guess Randomagus is a wrestler in the first meaning, for me the second meaning is applicable).
Paper wrestler... sounds like if the paper were attacking the artist!
DeleteAnd I love the way you added matching stamps!
ReplyDelete:D Thanks!
DeleteThanks again for these wonderful envelopes (and the great letters inside, of course). They are perfect.
ReplyDeleteI hope you like the next hand-made envelope, sent this morning. Well, not really hand-made, but upcycled, like this one.
DeleteI meant these two!
DeleteCela me rappelle les portraits de "Pierre et Gilles"et les timbres sont très bien assortis aux enveloppes
