Sunday Stamps | Ancient Britain


These stamps belong to the series Ancient Britain, issued in 2017. The stamp above features Avebury Stone Circles (Wiltshire, UK), a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1986.

The stamp below shows Maiden Castle (Dorset, UK).

    Love a stone circle, my local one is not as dramatic as Avebury but quite rare as it is a double circle.
