I'll be honest and was not thrilled to see those spiders...and, is it just me, or does Lon Chaney look more scared than scary?! I've never seen him in The Wolfman, but have seen Phantom of the Opera a few times.

Yes a jumping spider would give one quite a shock although much preferable to a werewolf or phantom.
