Reading Bears & Frogs

I don't know why, in my the album of Reading Animals, there are mostly postcards of frogs and bears...

Postcards of domesticated animals are not among my favourites. But I thought these reading...err... people could fit in that theme of Postcards for the Weekend...

  1. Good choices - but then I'm biased, anything with a book in its hand is a winner.

  2. I'm not a domesticated animal card lover either, but I like the cards you posted! As a Canadian, I probably love the Polar Bear one just a little bit more than the one with the frog!

    1. Me too. But maybe just because the frog isn't exactly reading...

    1. I wasn't sure about the degree of domestication of frogs and bears. But they are reading, so... Thanks for hosting the link, Maria!

  4. I completely agree with John :-)

And guess what... Just before seeing your blog post I ordered some new postcards from a Dutch website, one of them especially for you... showing an other bear with a book!.. And a, not reading, cat on a book for John :-) Do not know if that will count for John, as the book is not in the cat's hands (otherwise I would send it to Eva :-) but the cat is jumping or standing on the book...)

  5. Neat cards! It's a pleasure to find another post card collector on the WWW. Thanks for sharing and joining Maria's linky.
