HitM | Smash Mallow

An original house sent by Phillip (the USA) for the Houses in the Mail project. It is a plastic bag, that originally contained smashmallow. I can certify that, because the letter inside smelled of mint and chocolate. Actually, all my mail that arrived together with this green house smelled of mint and chocolate :)

By the way, I think this is the first totally resealable letter I have ever received...

Happy Easter!

I sent a couple of Easter-themed letters, with envelopes made of pages of magazines. The following day, I found one of them in my mailbox. There were no postmarks, but some marks that showed that the letter has passed through the postal machines (?!). I resent it... I hope it arrives!

Postcard sent by Fabienne (France). Last year!

A bunny that appears and disappears, on a letter sent by Phillip (the USA): Each of the three identical stamps on the sheet features an effect that mimics a classical illusion. By rotating each stamp, you can see a white rabbit popping out of a black top hat. It is quite difficult to take a proper picture! (And these complete my collection of magic stamps...).

And two more random bunnies, from Belarus and Japan:

I Really Needed an Orange Bath

I am not sure how long this take to arrive... but it amazingly did. This bath sponge was sent by Heleen (the Netherlands), with the purpose of making me laugh and challenge the postal services Well, and I am actually using it... Have you noticed that the label with the address is also a giraffe? )

But, obviously, I also needed the shampoo..

It arrived (well, not really: only a part of the plastic bottle). I wonder if it passed through the postal machines...

Naked mail is justs too funny!

Oz Jigsaw

I received this original postcard in four parts (a, b, c and d).

Phillip (the USA) posted one piece of this jigsaw every day, at the end of 2015. Of course, they did not arrived in the right order. The second part arrived on 13 January. The rest of the postcards arrive together two days later. In the links above you can see every part and the postmarks.

I love this kind of jigsaw experiments!

Ophelia's Bouquet

Sent to Alexander Limarev (Russia) for the mail art call about Shakespeare (deadline extended until 23rd April).

Collage made of a recycled plastic notebook, press cuttings and decorated tape. The Ophelia is taken from John Everett Millais. I sent the collage inside a Shakespearean envelope:

To send or not to send mail art,
that is a really silly question
