ReplyDeleteI didn't know about that USPS rule Graham mentioned, however I don't plan on quoting the rules to a postal worker... I can't imagine that would get me very far :)
The only time I have argued about something is when a postal clerk told me I didn't have enough postage on an envelope, and I had to point out that one of the stamps was the 2 ounce rate, so yes, it was enough.
From my experience, most postal workers know the rules less than some long time customers. But I try not to argue, for them not to take reprisal against the poor letters... :DDD

DeleteThanks for the video link Eva! Well produced and it explains a lot of why we see the scribbles now and the. Fortunately it does not happen too often but always frustrating when it does.
