Sent Christmas

Sent to Eduard (Russia) and John (the UK). The cards were cut of a magazine (a philatelic one, of course!).

HitM | Home Is...

Postcard made by Eva (Germany) and sent for the Houses in the Mail project, when I moved in, back in November.

HitM | Cherries House

Imma (PC) sent a wonderful illustration of a house in France when she spent a week. There were cherry trees, silence and squirrels (can you spot them on the picture).

The house arrived inside a transparent envelope.

Don't you just like transparent envelopes?

This one was sent by David (the USA). On just two words you can appreciate his wonderful permanship, can't you?

Tiny Mail from Australia

Naomi (From the blog Naomi Loves) made 54 tiny letters of antique tissue-paper, and offered to spread them around the world. I received my little letter with an inspiring sentence... What a wonderful short letter!

50th Birthday

Envelope made of tracing paper and tape, sent to Eric (France), for his 50th birthday. It contained a knitted 50:

It arrived one or two days after the due date. But Eric is still 50, isn't he? And his mail art call about this subject (Fifty) will remain open until the end of 2016. See the details in his blog, and all the creations he has received so far.

Bottle of... Evo?

Message in a bottle sent to Heleen (the Netherlands).

I have never tried this isotonic water (?). I just saw the ad and found the name, Evo, very appealing.

Mail Art Bocksbeutel

This is my translucent version of the Bocksbeutel, created for this mail art call (so, sent to Germany). I put another bottle on the envelope. I like the pictures that the recipient published here.

Deadline is 31th December 2015, so you can still send yours. On the postmark it says Always on time!

Mini Mail Art

Don't you think some pieces of mail are just perfect?

Look at his envelope sent by Gina (UK):

It contained a little postcard and a very little envelope:

The minipostcard (7,3 x 5,7 cm) shows a wintery view of the Amphitheatre El Jem in Tunisia... a bit altered. First time I was in Tunisia we reached 47 ºC, and the second time I didn't want to know. So this is a surprising image for me!

About the letter... How little is it?!?

And still she managed to write a real letter of that size:

New House

Sent to Raphael'L (France).

I have lived in enough places to know that it is not always easy to move. So when I learnt that Raphael'L was coming back from the USA to France, I decided to help her in looking for a new place to stay. I thought she could love this tiny paper house...

Anyway, it is always nice to find a house in your mail box; and not just a mail box in your house...

Cheese Pizza

Cardboard pizza (cut from a box of pizza, of course!) sent to Gina (UK). I added some paper cheese...

Sent in a hand-made envelope (of tracing paper and washi tape). I was not sure that it could survive naked!

Camel Inside (Again)

Wait... And why not going to Greece on holidays?
I heard that food is splendid there!
Altered postcard sent to Katerina (Greece). It was the answer to this camel which is still on the door of our fridge.

Have I told you I am longing for summer holidays?

Colour My World In Red

Sent to Dimitra (Greece) for her mail art project Colour My World.

This is a very funny mail art project!
You are invited to participate in a Mail Art project entitled “Colour my world”.
You can choose to use all the colours that you like in the same art work or to create works in which, only one colour prevails. According to the project, the colours could be combined with the months of the year but this is just a suggestion. What I want is organize an exhibition with all the colours. So you are free to choose the colour that represents you best.
I will send you back mail art in the same colour.
November: all colours, December: gold and silver, January: black and white, February: brown, March: pink, April: red, May: green, June: purple, July: blue, August; orange, September: yellow, October: all colours.
Deadline: November 1st 2014.
Address and more info in Dimitra's blog.

I have participated also with pink colour (and I'm planning to participate again).

Little Pink Museum...

Sent to Tessa (the Netherlands).

This is the second museum I made (the first here). The receiver is a museums' lover and I think she loves Rembrandt, so I built The Little Pink Museum of Rembrandt and his friends especially for her.

I am not sure if she loves pink. I hope so, because I decide to use pink papers (from an old magazine) and pink tape, and pink markers... I was in a pink mood that day!

And, as you can see, I hung only masterpieces:

I am proud to inform you that the museum has a big success: there is a never-ending queue of people (mmm... more or less) waiting for entering:

Oh, but this time I couldn't write a letter on the wall because it was absolutely forbidden...

So I wrote it separately in another museum-related postcard and send it to the owner of the blog You have mail from me (I know you will like that blog!).
