Women on Stamps | D for Dolto

Françoise Dolto (1908-1988) was a French pediatrician and psychoanalyst. All her life, she worked for the cause of children, with the aim of making them to grow up; she contributed by her work to radically change the look that adults have made on the children. She remains a reference for children's professionals and the general public.

The stamp was issued in 2018.

For the current round of Sunday Stamps A-Z I am showing stamps dedicated to women. You can see here all the Women on Stamps featured on this blog.

Go to Sunday Stamps to enjoy more D-stamps.

  1. I like the painting of her personality.

  2. A very dedicated woman. Nice to see this stamp.

  3. beautifully done stamp! love the cause she was fighting for, cos most often, children are just left on their own and not given the right care and attention.

  4. I think the three of you are right. Thanks for your visits and comments!

  5. We keep on learning by stamps. I didn't know Françoise Dolto until now, and I read she has done very good work.
    Thank you for sharing!

  6. She looks so grandmotherly, and kind.

  7. Another woman who I had not heard of before. Fine stamp for dedicated lady.

Thank you for coming. All your comments make me extremely happy.
