And matching stamps on the nice envelopes! A 'Marianne'-like stamp, and I suppose he must have touched a Harry Potter book in the book shop :-) By the way, I've never seen the US HP stamps before, how interesting and nice that US Post issued stamps about a UK movie/book (or is the movie US made??)
Nice to see how these travelled. Fortunately the upside down postmark means you could see the new definitive $2 stamp clearly. And I don't think I have ever seen the hand cancel style on the moon stamp before. I wonder if that explains its delay?
3 belles enveloppes ,j'adore le papier utilisé :)
ReplyDeleteC'est parfait.

I think the combination is perfect, and it is more according to the letters inside.
DeleteThis isn't the first time I have received Harry Potter stamps. I think that I have even got one from the Netherlands. That must be global nowadays.

ReplyDeleteAs usual, it will remain a postal mystery...
DeleteI really enjoyed these letters, even with the delay of one of them!
